Hilton, whereby the defendant gave a warrant of attorney authorizing any attorney of any court of record to enter an appearance and confess judgment. Pursuant to such authority, Morton E. Feiler, an attorney licensed to practice in California, confessed judgment, making a ""verified statement of facts.""
