This appeal raises the question of whether a plaintiff who seeks and obtains injunctive relief pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), 42 U.S.C. § 12201, et seq., is entitled to attorneys fees when that relief does not benefit the plaintiff directly. William v. Barnes appeals the decision of the district court to amend its initial decision to award attorneys fees. For the reasons that follow, we conclude that the district court properly amended its original judgment, thereby denying Barnes request for attorneys fees under the ADA.
